Ranked Reload System

Ranked reload system

Fortnite Ranked Reload System Overview

In Fortnite's Ranked Reload mode, matchmaking doesn't take player rank into account. This means that a Bronze-ranked player can end up in the same lobby as a player ranked Unreal. When it comes to ranking calculations, defeating a lower-ranked player doesn’t help your score and can even hurt it.

Key Points about the Reload System:

  1. Squad Reloads Matter: The number of times your squad reloads during a match affects your ranking. If your squad has 10 kills but also reloads 10 times, your ranking points will remain neutral. This means that focusing on reviving teammates while avoiding unnecessary reloads can be crucial.
  2. Eliminations Count Equally: In this mode, eliminations are weighted the same regardless of when they occur. Unlike in Battle Royale, where early-game kills yield fewer points than late-game eliminations, every elimination during a reload match carries the same value.
  3. Placement Points: While placement does play a role, it only significantly impacts your ranking if you finish in the top four. Placing 5th or lower doesn’t contribute much to your rank. Thus, the focus should primarily be on securing eliminations.
  4. Last Player Eliminator Impact: Your final ranking is heavily influenced by the rank of the player who eliminated you. So, if you're taken out by a high-ranking player, it can negatively affect your score.
  5. Camping Strategy: Camping isn’t as effective in Ranked Reload. Since eliminations are the primary currency for ranking, staying hidden without engaging won’t help you climb the ranks.

Conclusion

Overall, the Ranked Reload system emphasizes aggressive play and teamwork over placement. To maximize your ranking, aim for eliminations and work together with your squad to minimize reloads. Focus on keeping teammates alive and reviving them when possible, as this can lead to better overall performance in the ranking system. This means that in ranked reload Camping will not help advance your ranking much.
